Western Apache basket, polychrome, ca. 1930's. A lightning design that turns around basket in the center is a wonderful eagle feather look. Made with willow (light) and devil's claw (dark) with a rod foundation, the red in the center was created by using aniline dye. Has a thread loop on the back for hanging on the wall. Excellent condition, and it is rare to find a polychrome design.
Measurements: 14 1/2" in diameter.
