Kokopelli fetish by Bremette Epaloose
Kokopelli fetish by Zuni artist Bremette Epaloose, made of brown and tan marble, with inlay turquoise eyes. It measures 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide, and 3/4" deep. It is signed on the bottom. A beautiful piece of stone, carved with great skill.
Kokopelli is a Native American trickster figure in the mythology of many Southwestern tribes. Among the Zuni, he represents fertility.
