Tlaquepaque plate with cactus, agave, and man taking siesta, late 1940s
Hand-painted plate, made in Tlaquepaque village of Mexico, late 1940s. It measures 8 1/8" in diameter. Condition is good, there is one small chip on the man's belt but we could not find any other chips. Hand-painted with a scene of cactus, agave, and a man taking a siesta. It has beautiful colors, a fabulous example of Tlaquepaque pottery. The back is stamped with "Jarias P, Made in Mexico."
