Oak roll top desk, 1920's
Morning Star Traders' iconic oak roll top desk, which has been with us for more than 40 years, is for sale. It dates to the early 20th century, and the interior is fitted with pigeon holes and drawers, plus four drawers underneath on each side of the center drawer. It also has two pull out shelves. See pictures for details of drawers and shelves. Keys included. Has a plaque that says "The Rand Leopold Desk Co, Burlington, Iowa, USA." It's a great old piece and has worked well for us for many years.
It comes completely apart for easy access into rooms. This was a common practice with early furniture.
Measurements: It is 53 1/2" wide, 35 1/2" deep, the desktop height is 30" and the rolltop back height is 47".
