Hopi pot, by Rachel Sahmie Nampeyo (1956-). She is the daughter of Priscilla Namingha Nampeyo. Favorite designs are migration, 4 stars, eagle wings and tail feathers, rain, feathers, butterflies, Kachina, hummingbirds. This pot includes feather designs. It is in excellent condition.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measurements: 6 1/2" wide at the widest part, 2 1/2" wide opening, and 3 1/2" tall.
