Navajo box bow squash blossom, 1940s
Navajo-made box bow squash blossom necklace with natural turquoise, made in 1940s. The sand cast naja is 1 3/4" tall, 1 3/4" wide, with three turquoise cabochons and an unusual shape. There are 20 box bow squashes in total, hand-stamped sterling silver, each 1 1/4" long, and each has a round turquoise cabochon that is about 1/4" in diameter. There is a double row of handmade silver beads behind the squashes. The necklace is 28" long, with handmade sterling silver beads and a hook closure.
