Vintage Hopi 1950s bowl by Annette Silas (1915-1990), with thunderbird design, which was her favorite design. Signed on the back. Annette Silas is from the Wild Mustard Clan, Sichomovi, active 1930-1990, and she made black on yellow and black on red bowls, jars, and ladles.
All of the Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed and fully insured shipping.
