San Juan pottery moccasin boot
San Juan pottery moccasin. Single only, not a pair. In excellent condition. Has an old shop tag on the bottom from a trading post (see photos). It is 3 3/4" long, 3 1/4" wide at the widest part, and about 4 1/2" tall.
Pottery moccasins were made by the Pueblo Indians as a collectible item for tourists at the trading posts and railroad stations from 1870s to 1930s. They have very fine workmanship and are still valued as collector items. A unique Native American find.
