Zuni pottery moccasin, white and red
Zuni-made pottery moccasin. In excellent condition. Single only, not a pair. Has an old collection number on the bottom (see photos). It is 5 1/4" long, about 2" wide, and 2 3/4" tall.
Pottery moccasins were made by the Pueblo Indians as a collectible item for tourists at the trading posts and railroad stations between 1870s to 1930s. They have very fine workmanship and are still valued as collector items. A unique Native American find.
