Albert (1927-) and Josephine Cordova Vigil (1927-2001) San Ildefonso pot, with traditional designs and color. Cream- on-redware. Husband and wife team. They make pottery together, specializing in cream-on-redware. She made the pots and he painted them.
Condition is great, minimal scratches.
Signature is on the bottom.
All of the Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed and fully insured shipping.
Measurements: 8 1/2" wide, 9" tall, 5 1/4" opening.
