Very Rare Zuni frog candlesticks, ca. 1890's no signature. Frogs and Knife-wing deities surround these candlesticks, with black band lines running along the design. Very strong three dimensional frogs with polychrome color designs with flat painted knife wing designs along front on candlesticks. No cracks and is in fabulous shape for age and considering that it is a third dimensional piece.
Bottom has the traditional painted brown.
All of the Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed and fully insured shipping.
Measurements: 7" tall, 3 5/8" wide, with a 1 1/4" opening.
