Owl Zuni fetish, made of carved shell, with inlay turquoise eyes and turquoise and shell medicine bundle. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Bryston Bowannie. Wonderful carving, great use of the shell for the eagle form and markings.
Owls represent wisdom and patience, they are the guardians of the night, and they have the ability to see what others can't.
Measurements: 1 1/2" tall, 2 1/8" deep by 1 5/8" wide.
