Yaqui wooden javelina dance mask, ca 1990s, hand-painted in acrylic and hand-carved from cottonwood, depicting a javelina, with horsehair. Has the traditional Yaqui triangle painted border around edges of mask. This is a wonderful mask of a javelina, something different. Nicely done.

The Yaqui tribe is an Native American group that live in Northern Mexico and Southern Arizona.
Measurements: 4 1/2" tall, 4 5/8" deep, mask is about 8 1/2" tall, total length with hair is about 19".
