Zuni bighorn sheep/ram fetish, hand-carved out of black marble with an orthoceras fossil. Has inlay turquoise eyes. Native American made. It is by Zuni artist Abby Quam. It is not signed, but we buy directly from the artist so we always know who made the piece.
Bighorn sheep are a game animal to the Zuni, and these fetishes are carved to help in hunting these animals for food and clothing.
