Native American Zuni fetish carving of a horse, made of serpentine with inlay turquoise eyes. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Bryston Bowannie. Love the character of this sweet horse and the detail in the long mane and tail.
Horses represent strength, enlightenment, speed, and are thought to possess healing powers. The rain cloud is a sacred symbol to the Zuni, and the heart line gives the fetish medicinal powers and connects us to the spirit of the animal.
