Vintage hammered copper vase made in Santa Clara del Cobre in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. Labor intensive copper hammering technique starts with a single lump of copper that is hammered to the desired shape. Made in Arts and Crafts style. Beautiful reddish patina. The base is marked with the "Cobre vessel" mark and letters J.C.L.R.
Measurements: 10" tall, 4 1/2" diameter at base, 3" diameter at top.
