Perry M. Bryan (1907-1985) cowboy and horses print. Signature on lower right.
Was born in Webster Grove Missouri and died in Houston Missouri.
The picture shows a cowboy rushing a wild herd of mustangs.
He worked with the World Series Rodeos, painting life size rodeo pictures on the plate glass windows advertising rodeo dates; then sketching the first thing he saw at the rodeo of the bull and bronc riders, giving the sketch to the riders. This is where Perry got the name of "Cowboy Artist". He ran ranches in the west.
Perry was a charter member of the arts and crafts shows, being the one to help get it started. He was a blacksmith and traveled many miles with his horseshoeing rig.
