Zuni lizard fetish, hand-carved and signed by Zuni artist Lance Cheama. It is carved from picasso marble with inlay turquoise eyes. Signed on the bottom. This delicate lizard is crouched and looking at your with his tail curled. With all the detail in the skin and the pose, you feel it will move right in front of you. The pose demonstrates the carver's skill. We are happy to have Lance's work available.
Lizards are quick, agile, and survivors, and a symbol of the desert.
