Zuni horse family fetish carving, made from different stones by Zuni artist Daisy Leonard Natewa. The horses are made from yellow marble, apple coral and picasso marble, with inlay silver eyes. They are tied together with a medicine bundle made of turquoise, coral and heishe shell beads.
Horses represent strength, enlightenment, speed, and are thought to possess healing powers.
