Vintage Round Samsonite Silhouette Hat Box
Vintage round Samsonite Silhouette traveling hat box/train suitcase. ca 1950s, off white. Hardware and closures work, has original keys. Plastic carrying handle. Interior bottom has ribbon straps to hold items, and five satin pockets around the side with plastic lining. There are also two satin pockets on the inside of the lid. All snaps on satin pockets work and are in good condition.
Advertising photo from the 50'/60's shows the samsonite suitcases in blue with the hat box. This came with the traveling hat box.
Above the closure is a space to add your initial's to personalized the case for recognition. This case has the letters L S
Inside is brand new condition.
Outside some scuff marks.
