Midwest Indian wood and deerskin tourist trade drum ca. 1920's The drum head is hide, with sinew holding it a birchwood frame. It is open at the bottom. There are tiny drawings of an owl and a deer on the top. The sides of the drum are painted wood. Painted with a blue zig zag pattern around the edge and animal drawings.
Measures about 6 3/4" tall, approximately 12 1/2" in diameter.
