Zuni turtle fetish, made of mother of pearl with inlay turquoise, coral, and spiny oyster shell. It has raised dot inlay on the shell, and raised inlay for the eyes. Native American Made. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Andrew Quam, and is signed on the bottom.
Turtles represent longevity, are a rain-bringing fetish, and serve as links to the Zuni ancestors.
Measurements: 1 1/2" wide, 1" deep, and 3/8" tall.
