Hand carved wood Quarter Horse. Carved by Frank Polk (1908-2000) from Prescott, Arizona. In 1946, Polk was voted the best all -around Arizona cowboy, and in 1967, he was elected to the artists group, Cowboy Artists of America.
He is known as the "Cowboy Whittler" by the Cowboy Artist of America group.
Signed on the bottom.
Measurements: about 6 1/4" tall, 7" wide and 2 1/4" deep.
