Zuni desert tortoise fetish, made of white marble with inlay turquoise eyes and shell accents. Coral, jet and turquoise sun god inlay on the back. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Lynn Quam, and is signed on the bottom. Has great inlay details.
Turtles represent longevity, are a rain-bringing fetish, and serve as links to the Zuni ancestors.
Measurements: 3" wide, 1" tall and 1 7/8" deep.
