Santa Clara pottery moccasin boot candlestick pair
Santa Clara stone polished black pottery moccasin boot candlestick pair. Design is based on the higher moccasin boots instead of the lower moccasin. One boot has an old existing chip at the top and the other has a tiny chip at the top rim.
Pottery moccasins were made by the Pueblo Indians as a collectible item for tourists at the trading posts and railroad stations from 1870's to 1930's. They have very fine workmanship and are still valued as collector items. A unique Native American find.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measurements: one is 6" and the other is 5 1/2" wide, both are 2" deep, and 6 1/2" tall.
