Santa Clara stone polished black pottery moccasin boot candlestick. Good condition. Single only, not a pair. Design is based on the higher moccasin boots instead of the lower moccasin.
Pottery moccasins were made by the Pueblo Indians as a collectible item for tourists at the trading posts and railroad stations from 1870's to 1930's. They have very fine workmanship and are still valued as collector items. A unique Native American find.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measures 5 1/2" long, 2" deep, and 6 1/2" tall.
