Santo Domingo black on black pottery moccasin candle holder. Excellent condition. Single only, not a pair.
Pottery moccasins were made by the Pueblo Indians as a collectible item for tourists at the trading posts and railroad stations from 1870's to 1930's. They have very fine workmanship and are still valued as collector items. A unique Native American find.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measurements: It measures just over 6" deep, 2 1/8" wide, and 3 1/2" tall.
