Zuni Desert Iguana fetish, hand-carved and signed by Zuni artist Lance Cheama. It is made of white serpentine, and inlay turquoise eyes. Signed on the bottom. The detail in the animal shows Lance's skill in carving fetishes.
Lizards are quick, agile, and survivors, and a symbol of the desert.
