Zuni wolf family fetish carving, made from different stones by Zuni artist Daisy Nastacio. The wolves are made from serpentine, Egyptian marble and apple coral, with inlay silver eyes. They are tied together with a medicine bundle made of turquoise beads and heishe shell. Signed on the bottom.
The wolf is the teacher, family-oriented, the pathfinder, invokes a strong family bond, hunters, and the symbol for the East.
The medicine bundle is an offering to the animal's spirit that amplifies the power of the fetish.
