Zia dough bowl from the 1920's. Rare early design.
Redware with black slip.
The inside of the bowl has a high gloss on the inside from hand polishing with a stone.
Some wear marks on top black slip along rim. No heavy or deep chips.
All of the Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed and fully insured shipping.
