Zuni Sea Turtle fetish, made of white serpentine, with inlay turquoise eyes. Native American made, handmade by Zuni artist Michael Coble, and the bottom is signed with his name, "Zuni N.M." and carvings of tadpoles. The beautiful pose of the turtle swimming through the water is very different and peaceful to look at- it is very lifelike.
Turtles represent longevity, fertility, home, and reliability. They are symbols of Mother Earth, and they are rain bringers.
Measurements: almost 5 1/4" wide, 3 1/4 deep at deepest part, and 2 1/8" tall.
