San Juan pottery olla, 1940's. no signature. Has incised designs on the sides including the step kiva design. It is made with the traditional red clay along with white and tan tones. Excellent condition, with minimal scratches.
All of the Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed and fully insured shipping.
Measurements: about 6 3/4" tall, about 7" wide at the widest part.
