Old Havasupai basket, Grand Canyon area, ca. 1930s. Made with Sumac natural and dyed with a rod foundation.
Nice large size, good condition with some wear on the rim. Used as a utilitarian basket, because of the shape on top it probably had a strap to carry on ones back.
Measures 14.5" in diameter at the top, 11" tall.
