Old Navajo basket, wedding design, ca. 1930s or older. Made with Sumac natural and dyed with a rod foundation. The wedding basket design is traditionally displayed with the opening facing to the east, for abundance and blessings. Nice large size. Good condition, faded but the design can still be easily recognized.
Measures 15 1/2" in diameter, 5 1/2" deep.
