1880s Navajo ingot silver concho belt, second phase
Ingot Silver Second phase Navajo concho belt, ca. 1880's. The belt is mostly original leather with a section of newer leather added on to the end. Each concho has leather backing on it as well. It has a beautiful buckle with repousse designs. Great wear on the ends. There are seven oval conchos that are about 4" by 3 1/2", very heavy ingot silver. A fabulous old piece to add to your collection.
From the Richard A. Rosenthal collection.
Measurements: The leather part of the belt is about 47 1/2" long, about 1" wide, the buckle measures 4" wide by just over 3" tall.
