Arizona Desert landscape painting, oil on canvas board, 1930/40's. Signed in lower left corner. Painting is in great condition in the gilt gold original frame. Frame has a few scuffs.
Could not find any bio on artist, but must have been painted in the Tucson Arizona area because canvas board is from Posner paint store downtown Tucson location off of Congress. The store opened in 1913. The painter has the style of Willard Page, so could have been a influenced by him or just has that charming folk art, stylized look that Willard Page did.
Image size measures 22" by 14", framed size is 24 1/2" by 16 1/4".
