Large cross necklace by Los Ballesteros, Taxco, Mexico, 1940s
Mexican cross pendant, by the famous Taxco workshop Los Ballesteros. The pendant looks to be made of a hinged chain, like a Taxco bracelet. It is hallmarked with the hallmark of Los Ballesteros on the back. This piece is very big and bold, but elegant as well with his traditional design elements.
Measurements: The pendant is very large, measuring 5" long, and 3 1/4" wide. The chain is 29" long, and it is not sterling silver, but it comes with the pendant.
