Zuni rattlesnake fetish by Andrew Quam, made of spiny oyster shell and abalone with inlay turquoise eyes. Native American Made. It is 1/2" tall, 3 3/4" long, and just under 3/4" wide at the widest part. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Andrew Quam, and is signed on the bottom. The shells give it beautiful colors and patterns.
The Zuni believe that snakes have curative powers, and they represent rebirth, rain, fertility, and lightning.
