Hopi overlay buckle by Manuel Hoyungva
Hopi overlay belt buckle, with Man in the Maze design. Made by Manuel Hoyungva. He worked with his maternal uncle Preston Monongye. Marked on back with his Strong Rain Snow Cloud hallmark.
The buckle measures about 3" long, 2 3/8" wide. It fits belts, up to 1 1/2" wide.
The Man in the Maze design represents a person's journey through life, and is common among several Southwestern tribes.
