Butterfly Maiden fetish by Zuni artist Claudia Peina, made of shed antler, and inlaid with turquoise, jet and coral. The wings are made out of hand-stamped silver. This fetish is beautifully carved, characteristic of Claudia Peina's style and signed on the bottom.
The Corn Maiden helps to bring a healthy corn crop (abundance), which is an important source of food to the Zuni.
Measurements: 2 3/8" tall, 7/8" wide including wings, and 1 1/2" deep.
