Zuni wolf or Fox fetish carving, made out of white marble with inlay turquoise. Measures just under 3" long. 5/8" deep, and 5/8" tall. Inlay turquoise eyes, as well as an inlay turquoise dot on its back, surrounded by carved lines in a unique pattern. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Brendon Phillips, and is signed on the bottom.
The wolf is the teacher, family-oriented, the pathfinder, invokes a strong family bond, hunters, and the symbol for the East.
