Tohono O'Odham basket by Mildred Lewis (deceased), with a whirlwind design. Negative design- meaning colors are reversed (black background, lighter grass used for the design). Made with Devil's Claw (black) and yucca with a Bear Grass foundation. This basket measures about 13 1/2" in diameter, and comes with a thread loop in the back for hanging on the wall. Excellent condition.
