Spiny oyster shell earrings with feather dangles, by artist Louise Pete
Native American-made spiny oyster shell earrings, by Navajo artist Louise Pete. They hang just over 2 1/2" long, and are about 3/4" wide at the widest part. They are made from pieces of spiny oyster shell inlaid with turquoise, with dangling turquoise beads and spiny oyster shells shaped like feathers. Natural stone, hand-carved. These earrings are lighter weight than they look. Earrings are not signed, but were purchased directly from the artist.
