Made of red marble, with inlay turquoise eyes and a medicine bundle tied to it that is made of coral, turquoise, and a spiny oyster shell arrowhead. Native American made. She does not sign her fetishes, but she has a distinctive style, and we buy directly from the artists so we can confirm that she made it.
Bobcats are some of the rarest fetishes made, and they are the hunting animals of the south. Hunting animals are traditionally used by the Zuni to ensure a good hunt to feed the tribe.
The medicine bundle is an offering given in gratitude to the animal's spirit, and it amplifies the power of the fetish, especially when an arrowhead is included.
