Navajo bracelet with turquoise, 1930s
Navajo-made turquoise bracelet, 1930s. The bracelet is 7/8" wide at the widest part, with a square turquoise in the center surrounded by smaller cabochons. There are more turquoise cabochons on the sides, for a total of 23 turquoise stones on the bracelet. There is twisted wire and silver balls between the stones, and overall the bracelet has a unique look. Great use of different shaped stones. Not hallmarked. Originally from the Lyn Trusdale collection.
Measures about 5 1/2" around, with a 1" opening, so it will fit wrists up to 6 1/2" around.
