Zuni fetish carving of a coyote, made of blue sodalite with inlay turquoise eyes and heart line. Native American Made. Classic howling coyote pose, with the traditional heart line, and made with a beautiful stone. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Lynn Quam, and is signed on the bottom.
Measures 2 5/8" tall, 2 3/8" wide, and 1/2" deep.
Coyotes are tricksters in Zuni legend, associated with laughter and humor. The heart line represents the path the breath takes through the body, connecting us to the animal's spirit.
