The back also has other notes on it, including what looks like a map, written by the artist. Still in original frame, great condition.
Willard Page was born in Whiting, Kansas, and he traveled in a performing art troupe, where he was billed as a "lightning artist," one who could draw as fast as he could talk. Along with his wife Ethel, who played the piano, the two traveled throughout the West and eventually settled in Colorado. He was known for his landscapes of great clarity and skill.
