Portrait of a Navajo man, pastels on board. By artist Virginia Wood (lifespan 1938 - 2019), an artist originally from South Carolina who studied at the Art Students League in New York, and was known for her work in pastels and her use of warm colors. This piece is in great condition, ready to hang with wire and paper on the back (there is a tear in the middle of the backing paper). Signed on the lower right, titled with the man's name on the lower left side.
Measurements: Framed size measures 29" by 34 1/4", image size measures 17" by 22".
