Mexican mask pin, 1930s by Los Castillo, Taxco
Mexican pin from 1930's, sterling silver, in the shape of a mask-like face. Made by the Los Castillo shop of Taxco, Mexico, a shop who started out under William Spratling before branching out on their own. Stamped on the back with "Los Castillo, Taxco," "Made in Mexico," and the sterling mark. A beautiful, unique design, a bold piece of wearable art.
