Navajo ingot silver sugar spoon, 1920s
Navajo-made hand-stamped ingot silver sugar spoon, 1920s. Made from melted silver dollars. Has hand-stamped designs. A very cute, delicate little decorative spoon. These were made to sell for the Victorian people coming out west on train to experience the Native American people and the beauty of the west. Spoons and other flat ware was something they could sell to the tourist.
This spoon measures 4 1/4" long, 3/4" wide at the widest part.
